Search, subscription & members' area

SwissTalents holds the privacy and security of its site visitors and members in the highest regards. Your personal profile stored in the SwissTalents database is password protected. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and/or password. Any profile registration or modification will be reviewed by a Swiss Science & Technology Counselor to check consistency, verify the standardization of some entries, and filter out profiles which do not correspond to SwissTalents' criteria. SwissTalents has no obligation to register any profile nor to mention any reason for not registering a profile. You and you only decide which fields of your profile are publicly accessible, following given data access levels.

You agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself as well as maintain and promptly update the registration data to keep it true, accurate and current. Should SwissTalents have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate or not current, SwissTalents has the right to suspend or terminate your registration.

We may modify or discontinue our services or your account with us, with or without notice, without liability to you, any other user or any third party.

The public search function has been designed to discourage collective data gathering by third parties, which is strictly prohibited by SwissTalents, but which can unfortunately not be totally ruled out and for which SwissTalents assumes no responsibility. Users of the search function agree not to use its results for junk mail, chain letters, "spamming", commercial solicitations or to engage in illegal activities.

SwissTalents reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the site. Additionally, members and visitors may be asked to fill up a form regarding SwissTalents's service or/and related topics. The surveys are used to better understand members' and visitors' needs and fulfill the requests. Personal information will be kept private and for the sole use of SwissTalents.

E-News

E-News is the generic name for a series of electronic newsletters distributed by email. E-News can be subscribed by anybody with a valid email address (opt-in principle). Unsubscribing is possible at any moment in time (opt-out principle). Subscribed email addresses are kept private and are for the sole use of SwissTalents. Only the manager(s) of E-News is(are) allowed to post messages to the newsletter(s). SwissTalents assumes no responsibility for the misuse of E-News by third parties and extends its warranty & liability policy to E-News.

Forum (currently disabled)

Forum is available only to registered SwissTalents members. By sending a message to the Forum, you agree to have it posted for public viewing without compensation along with your name. All messages that are posted represent the opinions of SwissTalents website users and do not represent the ideas or opinions of SwissTalents. Users are responsible for the content of the message they communicate as well as the consequences of any such messages.

SwissTalents reserves the right to remove any offending, inappropriate or unidentified message without compensating and informing the author. SwissTalents, however, has no obligation to delete content that you may find offensive or objectionable.
